  I was told by my surgeon I could fly the day after my appendectomy but jet star had a different opinion, after waiting for my flight I finally boarded only to be told I couldn't fly for another 4 days. The nurses were either great or horrible and no in-between, they also forgot to weigh me and take my height so when i got into surgery the anaesthetist had to guess how much to give me. My medical records also say that I'm anorexic which was completely random and I'm assuming a mix-up considering there was no reason so assume that, also I'm a healthy weight but they wouldn't know that because they forgot to check.....

  Went to the emergency department the other day with severe pain in my abdomen, I hadn't been able to walk and had been in severe pain for 6 hours which was making me sick. I was there for 3 and a half hours, had a blood test and urine sample done and the nurse gave me some panadene fort. Which didn't take away much of the pain, I was then told nothing was wrong and I went home. I knew something was wrong because I was on such severe pain still and though the night. The next day I went to my local doctor, had to be put on an IV drip and some morfine, anti nausea and antibiotics. They thought I had a cyst so they organized an ultrasound straight after my drip and it turned out I had a ruptured ovarian cyst and have a LOT of internal bleeding that needed emergency attention straight away. If I had listened to the staff and doctors in the emergency department I would be in a very bad way.

  After having surgery at this hospital I could not fault my experience. Doctors, surgeons & nursing staff were all brilliant and under the circumstances made my overnight stay a very comfortable and pleasant experience. Thank you again to everyone involved!!

  Nobody likes to go to hospital ; but I must say For me doctors are next to God . They are the best people who saves our life and get abused sometime in return. I have had best experience of my life being in hospital . Every single staff were very welcoming and nice people. God bless them.

  My mum was admitted late last night with a bad asthma attack and high fever.... the staff in ER and the ambulance staff, Rachel, Sean and T.J were so patience and kind to our mum.... all the ER staff couldn't do enough to help her and explained everything clearly so she could understand..... I'm over here on holiday from New Zealand and I'm just so impressed and grateful to everyone who works at this hospital..... from the warm and friendly volunteers and orderlys to the wonderful nurse's and doctors and anyone else that I met over the last 24hours you do a fantastic job
